Strength of Men

912365_face_of_an_old_man_02Allah has created the man to be a strong creature; physical and emotional strength are primarily what men are known for, or rather, should be known for. At times we (men) forget the importance in maintaining that strength which Allah and His messenger (peace be upon him) have spoken to us about time and time again:

  • Verily, Allâh loves those who fight in His Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a solid structure. (As-Saff 61:4)
  • On the authority of Aboo Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) said:”The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allaah than the weak believer, while there is good in both. Guard over that which benefits you, seek Allaah’s Assistance, wa laa ta’jiz (don’t lend yourself to things devoid of benefit, and this could carry many meanings), and if something befalls you, then don’t say ‘If I only would have done such and such,’ rather say, ‘Qaddarallaahu wa maa shaa’ fa’al’ (Allaah ordained (this) and He does what He wills), for verily the phrase ‘If I would have’ makes way for the work of Shaytaan.Read more…

Destiny

slumdog-millionaireDefinition: an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future.

We as Muslims believe in the Divine Decree of Allah, that whatever occurs happens by the Will of Allah alone. However we as beings are given the freedom of choice by Allah. So if I was to define ‘destiny’ in my own words, I would define it as such: Read more…

The views expressed within these videos may or may not be in line with Muslim Scribbler’s opinions, and the content may not be suitable for all. However, due to them (Noreagaaa and Achernahr Productions) being the only option out there to illustrate the dangers agreed upon with Scribbler regarding an evil society at work for thousands of years these videos are being shared.

My dear fellow Muslims, Assalamu alaikom. I’ve decided to participate in the Wake Up Project by sharing with my readers the hidden dangers of this world; dangers which may not seem apparent to all. Although some of these ideas may seem far-fetched and along the lines of fake conspiracies people have created for “fun”, I bid that you take them quite seriously. Unfortunately the first part has had sound edited by YouTube due to copyright infringement, but I’ve included the second part for today’s post as well… feel free to comment insha’Allah for discussion. POVERTY: Islam’s Answer

Blog Action Day '08 POVERTY!

Blog Action Day'08 POVERTY

As I mentioned in my previous post, MuslimScribbler.com is joining the race within the blogosphere to help a very important cause; the eradication of poverty worldwide. Individuals, celebrities, organizations, and even nations have attempted to salve this problem faced by millions of people around the world, yet unfortunately no significant results are realized.

How can we truly answer this problem once and for all? Is there not a manual that addresses such conditions in any environment? With all of the world’s super powers, wealth, and support for such a cause, why don’t we see progress? Perhaps there’s a fault in the systems implemented in past years. A system that has not been practiced on a macro level for some time now which has proven results in the past is that of the Zakah (‘alms for the poor’) system; the 4th pillar in Islam. Read more…
